Scott began in artist development and was recruited by a group called the Track Masters. Also in this segment, she discusses how she ended up at Violator Management. The Track Masters eventually decided to part ways. Chris Lighty, originally from RUSH management, invited her to Violator where she started the management division. Scott mentions some of the acts Lighty brought over from RUSH, such as Busta Rhymes and Foxy Brown.
